Every day, the brains at Echobox are working hard behind the scenes to roll out new functions and features, all with the purpose of making Echobox the best content management software on the market.

As you can imagine, this takes some time and effort. Lots of research and development goes into choosing the right update to roll out. So when it’s finally released, it’s something we get very excited about.

This year has been hectic, with tons of new features and innovations released over the last few months. So many new features, in fact, that it can be hard to keep up. Well, never fear. Here’s a few of the new features that we’re most excited about.

Echobox now has a TikTok integration

Everyone’s talking about TikTok. It’s the hottest social platform around, and now you can post to it directly from Echobox. Yes, we’re delighted to say that Echobox now supports TikTok along with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

TikTok is a platform that’s increasingly popular with publishers looking to engage a younger demographic. With around 1 billion users around the world, publishers maintaining a strong presence on the platform have access to a huge potential audience.

Reaching that audience is complex, though. TikTok relies on an algorithmic recommendation system like many other social networks. But unlike others, content that can be recommended is not limited by whom a person follows. Instead, TikTok’s algorithms serve up content from across the platform which, in theory, democratizes virality. Anything can go viral at any time.

And it’s time that’s crucial.

Posting at the right time greatly increases your chances of going viral, because of the way that the algorithm works. That’s where Echobox comes in. Using our powerful AI tech, Echobox can automatically post the right content to TikTok at the right time. This makes it much more likely that your content gets seen by as many people as possible.

Create referral traffic from Instagram with Link in Bio

It was one of our most requested updates, so we’re glad to say that Echobox now has a Link in Bio functionality, giving you the ability to collect your Instagram posts in one place where your audience can click through.

Historically, generating traffic from Instagram has been difficult. For a long time, the platform was thought of by publishers as being only useful to increase exposure to a younger audience, with actual click-throughs happening elsewhere.

That’s where the Link in Bio page comes in.

Placing a link in an Instagram bio is the method of choice for many publications to generate referral traffic from the platform. But with only one link in a bio possible, this method didn’t provide much flexibility.

The Link in Bio page acts as a central repository for content shared to Instagram. Place the URL to your Link in Bio page into your Instagram bio and your audience can now easily navigate onto your site with just a simple click, as well as scroll through other content that they might find interesting.

Using the Echobox Link in Bio function gives you a substantially streamlined workflow. Schedule your feed image post and just tick the “Post to Link in Bio” box to simultaneously upload your content to your Link in Bio page. Simple as that.

Post Reels through Echobox

And finally, while we’re on the subject of Instagram, we’ve another major update to announce: Echobox now supports Instagram Reels!

Reels has been around for three years now, but only recently, as Meta goes all in on video content, have they begun to focus seriously on them. The strategy seems to be working.

A recent report by Morgan Stanley based on a study of 2,000 people found that usage of Reels has grown from 62% of users in March of 2022 to 74% by April of 2023. In Meta’s Q1 investors call in April, Mark Zuckerberg gave the view from head office: “Reels also continue to become more social with people resharing Reels more than 2 billion times every day, doubling over the last six months. Reels are also increasing overall app engagement and we believe that we’re gaining share in short-form video too.”

You can post your Reels to Instagram just as you would an image feed post, through Echobox.

Each of these features is there to help you get the most from your posting strategy by increasing engagement and streamlining your workflow.
